S.G.U did go to Anglesey for some fun paddling and testing some new stuff from Duem. Anglesey is pretty close to heaven for seakayakers…fantastic big water and good ale on the “office” (the bar were the locals spend there time).
In Holy Head we did pic up kayaks from Rockpool and from there we did go staight to Penrhyn Mawr, thats a classic playspots for tideal race.

Home after a great show on Kanomesse in Germany. The water getting colder here in Finland now so the new Hellrider-dryjacket will be used from now.
On friday Team S.G.U will go to Wales for some serious seakayaking and we will bring some of the latest DUEM gear there…we will sure try the jackets and the spraydecks as hard as possible in the big “washing machine” in Cornwall and Anglesey! Ride on!

Hi all together,
here is a short report about my 2010 season, which was the first with the new duem stuff gear.
So after missing the senior team at the selections in may i was disapointed. Later during the world cups my shap was going better and better, in augsburg i finshid 7th, my best world cup result right now. After that prepeared for the U23 Euros which took place in Leipzig. I was really motivated to do a good race at that weekend. It was really great to race in front of the croud. And to win in front of the german croud was a special feeling for me.
The weeks after that i finshid 2nd in the team race at the euros in bratislava and 3rd at the pre worlds in Bratislava, too.
Next big highlight for me was the dolomitenman in Lienz (austria). It is the hardest team race world, I fnished on the 5th place with my team, which was a really great result! check it out www.dolomitenmann.com
2 weeks ago i was racing at the last german nationals, i finshed 2nd and 1st at the overall german ranking same as last year.
One week to go, than I will start the winter training for the 2011 pre olympic season!
