International race Markkleeberg

Hi all together,

last weekend I raced at the first big european slalom race in 2011. It was hold in Markkleeberg in Germany, in the k1 men I had 130 competitors, but it didn’t matter. I did a really good job at the saturdays race, I won by 2 sec. In second and third were Grimm(GER) and Prindis (CZ). On the sundays race I finished 3rd. Overall I am realy satisfied with this results and also with my runs. Now I am prepearing for the german selection in 3 weeks.

cheers

first competition in Markkleeberg

The first competitions for this year are now over. Last week the international competitions take place in Markkleeberg. Both competitions in the Canadier two-man have been won by the Czechs Wolf/Stepanek. Kevin and I take fith place an saturday and sixth place on sunday. But we were not really satisfied with these results because we have hoped for better ones. Nevertheless we have more than three weeks to get fit. Now we have to complete some courses in Markkleeberg to prepare ourselves.
Sporty Greetings, Kai and Kevin

Millau Copa espagna de stylo libré, hollé!!!!

Millau Copa espagna de stylo libré, hollé!!!!

The last weekend of March was held the first race of the Spanish championship of  Kayak Freestyle in Millau. It was an opportunity for Jo and me  to test their level internationally. Spain is among the European elite of the discipline.

At this game, Jo has done spoke of him by finishing second, just before the vice-European champion. I am little back, finish fifth.

We were there at first to see the level of our Hispanic neighbors, but also and mainly for fun and pleasure. With Gael Kernin and Ludo Escurier we did make a nice getaway night on Friday…

We will hold for this race the summer temperatures, good humor but especially the large level of Spanish paddlers.

Me

Jo loop.

Me back loop.

Next contest in early May on the wave of Flip-Flap. Meanwhile, we train us on wave and steep paths in the Pyrenees.

see you FAFA.

Kayaking in Central Java

Here’s a short video Edit I made of GoPro shots I made in Central Java. I must admit I am scared to take on the sorting of other 250 GB of shots made with two other cameras so I don’t know when I’ll be able to release the rest of the footage. Until then I hope you enjoy this video. I intend to publish the rest of the Indonesia story on my blog soon. Untill then – Peace out!
