GB senior Selection is over and done. To cut a long story short i had a terrible time and missed the A team finishing in 6th overall. In the last 2 years this has been really frustrating being quick enough to make the team but things just haven’t gone to plan over the 3day series.I’d won 3 out of 4 of the national ranking events and my form was good going into the race but after a silly touch on the last gate in race 1 and then a mistake half way down my semis run in Day 2 my selection hopes were gone. Having had a bit of time to reflect on this i have a list of what i need to work on into next year towards Olympic selection. On the plus side i will be racing the Leipzig world cup and the London test event which i’m really looking forward to as well as 10weeks touring in Europe.

Italian slalom selection 2011
Hi guys,
the italian selection races are finished. After two in Ivrea (30 april-01 may) and one in Tacen (21 may) the K1 team is completed: Molmenti-Degennaro G.-Romeo A.-Costa L.-Raiba O.-Mayr L.- Degennaro R. are in the components of the strong team.
About my performances I can say to be angry, because I have not done my best in Ivrea, and in Tacen after the two runs of selections I was out of the team for 1″50…so now I’m here in the office in front of at the same computer and instead to work I’m thinking at all the moments during these races days. The only thing to do is to learn from these bad moments and continue with conviction!

Selection in Germany 2011
Hey guys,
sorry for the late report. But I had a lot of stuff to do, for uni and a lot of daily training, in the last 3 weeks after our selections.
So lets talk about my results at the selections. Overall I finshed 3rd, that means I am qualified for the worlds, the euros and the world cups in 2011. Futhermore I will race at the pre olympics in London, which will be one of the highlights in this season.
Just to inform you, we had 3 selection races in Markkleeberg. In the first race I finished 5th, because I hade some trouble in the bottom part of the course and touched 2 gates. The setting of the gates in the second race was much more difficult, but not a big Problem for myself ;-) I won the race. The 3rd race wasn’t so succsesfull for me, I finsihed 7th, because of a big mistake at the last stopper.

French Team Trials
Three french C1 GUYS for only two places in the French C1 freestyle team. We had to fight for these two places.
The last step before getting to the French national freestyle team took place in Millau (France) last weekend. On the “Vibram Natural Games” site, with an awesome weather as usual, we saw a lot of massive moves : huge loops and back loops, mc nastys and back mc nastys permitted to me and Rodo to earn our place in the French team.
Now it’s time for the last preparation before this international event.
Such a shame for Nico (the 3rd C1 Guy) that there isn’t three places in the team. We’ll see how we can paddle without our technical and mental coach …
Let’s dream about a podium.
Rapid Mag
I made it on the cover of Rapid Magazine, North America’s largest kayaking magazine. On the cover I am doing freestyle, but right now I am training slalom hard in Liptovsky. Race this weekend!
Czech team for Freestyle World Championship 2011
We had qualification for Worlds in Plattling. Water level in Plattling was so low, so we were in Kadan. Nice playspot on the west Bohemia.

The qualifications for the world championship in Markkleeberg
The qualifications for the world championship in Markkleeberg are now over and the tickets fort he European championship, the World Cups and the world championship were allocated. Kevin and I were able to secure the participation for the world championship. Having took third place on friday and won the race on saturday, we have been nominated- even after two of three competitions- for national team. Consequently we were able to take the third and last day of qualifications just easy. Together with Marcus Becker/Stefan Henze and David Schröder/ Frank Henze we will ,in the Canadier double, internationally represent Germany and of course DUEM STUFF .

New boat and new racing season in Europe!
Just picked up my new Kapsl 2 in Bratislava and getting excited for some training and racing in Europe! We will be in Bratislava, then Liptovsky Mikulaus, and then Taucen.
