Sooo,
I am in Australia for 3 weeks now and I will stay one more week here in Penrith. The slalom course is really nice for training. It is the olympic venue from 2000 where teh German Thomas Schmidt took the Goldmedal, so it is a special place for me to do my training. Cause I remember watching his run when I was 12 years old.
I did a lot of hard sessions till now. It is really great to to do my work out in the summer of australia. At the end of this week the australian open will be host in Sydney, I am looking forward to the first big international competition of the year.

Hi all together,

here is a short report about my 2010 season, which was the first with the new duem stuff gear.

So after missing the senior team at the selections in may i was disapointed. Later during the world cups my shap was going better and better, in augsburg i finshid 7th, my best world cup result right now. After that prepeared for the U23 Euros which took place in Leipzig. I was really motivated to do a good race at that weekend. It was really great to race in front of the croud. And to win in front of the german croud was a special feeling for me.
The weeks after that i finshid 2nd in the team race at the euros in bratislava and 3rd at the pre worlds in Bratislava, too.
Next big highlight for me was the dolomitenman in Lienz (austria). It is the hardest team race world, I fnished on the 5th place with my team, which was a really great result! check it out www.dolomitenmann.com
2 weeks ago i was racing at the last german nationals, i finshed 2nd and 1st at the overall german ranking same as last year.
One week to go, than I will start the winter training for the 2011 pre olympic season!

Yesterday was the last day of the first world cup 2010. I was a bit disapointed about my result in the end. After the qualification on friday i was on 14th place but in the semifinal on Sunday it was just the 31st place, because of big mistake at gate 12, I lost 7seconds and that was the time I was to slow to be in the final. Now I’m looking forward to the 2nd world cup in Spain on next Saturday.
